Our team at Press Record Media has filmed all over the country helping tell customer and company stories. While we cherish the opportunity to see and capture video in some of the most beautiful places, we have a soft spot for our home base - the Raleigh/Durham metro area.
If you’ve been following the news (or just driven around downtown Raleigh, Durham, or the Research Triangle Park), you’ll see how fast our area is growing. It’s a thrilling time to be a Raleighite with new opportunities and locations to film seemingly every day.
We want to pause, take a breath, and think back to some of our favorite filming locations of videos we’ve produced here in the Triangle.
One of our most recent videos covered the “topping out ceremony” for the Research Triangle Park’s new development, HubRTP. Topping out is when the last beam is put in place as part of a building’s foundational structure. The crew gets to sign the beam and celebrate their progress so far.
To us and the Research Triangle Foundation, this was a time to take a look back at how this exciting development took shape and cast a vision forward to what RTP will become. The hope is HubRTP will be a destination to live, work, and play in the Triangle - just minutes from RDU airport.
We were so excited with how the video turned out and were thrilled to use old VHS footage created by RTP in the 80’s.

A fun project we worked on in collaboration with Compass Realty, was a full drone walkthrough of their new office space located in the Crabtree area in North West Raleigh. Ryan, one of our owners and in-house drone pilots, was able to skillfully capture the space in one take. Most of our drone filming is outdoors, but it was fun to be inside on this one.
We’ve got some huge hockey fans on our team, so it was a dream to work with the Carolina Hurricanes. We flew our FPV (first person view) drone through PNC arena to capture footage that would eventually make its way onto the jumbotron during the playoffs.

Hockey fandom has continued to grow in the triangle and we’ll continue to cheer on our local team.
Our team was looking for a fun and exciting outing to celebrate a few projects being completed. Rush Hour Karting had recently opened a new location in Morrisville with a 2-story track and super fast electric go-karts.
We filmed almost a full day there and got to enjoy the go-karts, axe throwing, and amazing food Rush Hour had to offer.
